Best Friends Dog Bakery was created for the purpose of creating a tasty, allergy-free dog cookie treat without preservatives, with fresh farm ingredients, and with GLUTEN-FREE stone-ground flours that contain NO SOY, NO WHEAT, and NO CORN.

In 2008, our bakery owner's Bull Mastiff, Jack Jack, kept experiencing a severe skin and ear allergy to every treat she gave him. His skin would turn red, he would chew his paws, and he would try to scratch at his eyes and ears. After much research, talking to veterinarians, and testing recipes, our bakery owner and head baker, Emylee Boone, was able to create tasty dog cookie treats that wouldn't cause these issues for her best friend, Jack Jack.

Now other dogs are able to enjoy fresh, great tasting baked dog cookie treats from Best Friends Dog Bakery without allergy side-affects . After encouragement from friends and family, Emylee started Best Friends Dog Bakery so other dogs could have access to her healthy, allergy-free dog cookie treats.

It’s because of our love for dogs that we bake daily at Best Friends Dog Bakery. Every ingredient is hand picked and shopped weekly by our head baker, sometimes even from farmers at our farmer's markets. Our cookies are hand rolled, cut out, and baked daily.

Our bakers sources from local vendors for honey, fruits, and other ingredients and sources harder to find ingredients from trusted family and small business owned suppliers so that all dog parents that shop from our bakery can give their dog the best freshly baked dog cookie treats full of love and care, without allergies, and using only high quality ingredients in every cookie.

Best Friends Dog Bakery bakes all of our dog cookie treats WITHOUT PRESERVATIVES, and with GLUTEN-FREE ingredients that contain NO SOY, NO WHEAT, and NO CORN. We use cage-free eggs, locally source honey, wild blueberries, farm and farmers market fresh vegetables, and other amazing LOCALLY sourced ingredients in our recipes.
